mermaids love wine
Leaving my beach in Port Aransas is always hard but heading to Punkie’s Place in Warrenton, Texas for the Round Top Antiques week (actually 3 weeks!) makes it easier!
Today I packed up my girls, the car is stuffed with artwork, art supplies and my new T-shirts. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends, making new friends and experiencing the crazy and the fun that only women (mermaids) can have!
Come see me at Punkie’s Place, see my new work and let me illustrate your “girlfriend groups” in my Mermaid Sketch style.
Don’t forget to check out the Round Top Antiques Show Guide…you might recognize the artwork!
Looking forward to it!
Yessss, I’m headed to Punkie’s Place again! I do love this time of year. It’s quiet at the beach so I pack up and take my “girls” to the Round Top Antique Shows and set up at Punkie’s in Warrenton. Talk about “girl time”, it’s the perfect place to hang out with your besties, enjoy cocktails (btw, mermaids do drink, they seem to prefer red wine), shop and shop and shop! The days are long and the nights are full of girl talk and great food. Come on!
Here are some new things from Mermaid Sketches…
Semi-customs, round top girls, donkeys, mermaids mermaids mermaids, tee shirts…and much more! I’ll be there for custom work too…so excited!
Exciting things are happening. I’m leaving my beautiful beach and heading to Warrenton, Texas to join Punkie’s Place for a week at the Round Top Show. You can find me there with new products and my artwork, of course!
So come by and see me. Let me bring out the mermaid in you and your girlfriends with my semi-custom artwork, created while you wait.
See you at Punkie’s!
It all started with a mermaid. I have found that women like to see themselves as mermaids. I mean who wouldn’t? A mythical siren that is known for its beauty, sign me up!
Another thing I noticed (starting with my friend group) was that women enjoy girl time and cocktails. Red wine anyone? Then it hit me. I could take this idea and personalized it for you. And that’s when it happened, these mermaids took a life of their own.
Fast forward a few years and now I am painting mermaids for groups of friends, wedding parties, moms and daughter, etc. Take a look around the site and become a mermaid too!
Until next time.
